Both being busy working Mums, trying to juggle a career and childcare, they decided to start their own home cleaning businesses which they could run part-time from home. Those early days have developed into full-time, extremely successful domestic cleaning enterprises, servicing over 450 clients across Northamptonshire. Since that time they have diversified the basic cleaning business into many other areas On January 25th 2013 Ann & Claire took their businesses to the next level and registered as limited companies Time For You Northants (South) Ltd and Time For You Northants (North) Ltd.
Claire Elliott
Well, we can certainly call Claire a woman of action, with a varied set of skills too!
Who would believe she once trained to be a hairdresser and beautician BUT ALSO has a degree in mechanical engineering, with specialisation in tool-making? Her desire for adventure spills over into her social life, where she is a keen river rower and voluntarily services helicopters – is there anything this lady can’t do?
She even co-pilots for a friend to collect and deliver the helicopters needing service or repair, which is carried out at Sloane Helicopters, located at Sywell Aerodrome Northamptonshire But she has time for a family life too – she’s married with a 15-year old son and enjoys socialising with her husband and son. Ann Brebner
Not to be outdone, Ann has also led an active (and dangerous) life prior to setting up the business.
Her early career was spent with the Metropolitan Police, based at London’s Kings Cross! Having joined the Met in 1989 as a PC, she subsequently moved into CID and worked in the high-risk areas of murder, drugs and prostitution in the notorious Kings Cross area.
Ann is married with twin boys, aged eight, and having returned to the Met part-time once they were born, she decided to opt for a new career nearer home and TFY Northants was also born! Somewhere along the way, she has also been a barmaid, waitress, hamper packer, leaflet distributor and jewellers shop assistant! Quite a mixture......
Ann is never happier than beginning a new business venture but also has time to keep fit by running, Zumba classes and, of course, chasing her energetic boys around the park! She’s also a keen golfer and, on a musical note, has recently taken up the classical guitar.

PS: Both Ann and Claire are keen supporters of charities – happy to dress up in spotted pyjamas for Children in Need and always keen to raise funds for worthy causes, whether national or local.
